Guest Cillian
Hi all, I am just about to order some new boot rubbers to replace the perished ones on my 93 Jap SZ, but i've noticed there is a different part number depending on the year./chassis Can anyone shed some light on this? Will the newer part number fit the older model supra? Im guessing it was a redesign at some point. Here's what i found: Lower rubber: 67281-14050 Screw: 90159-50116 Upper rubber: 67293-14050 (up to chassis 0035274) Upper rubber: 67293-14051 (chassis 0035274 on) Screw: 90159-08055 Thanks
rider
The 14051 replaced the part 14050 so you can only get the later one. "Part No. 67293-14050 Part Description CUSHION, BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER Replaced By 67293-14051"

Chris Wilson
The top one on the tailgate is hard plastic and I have NEVER known one wear or break. Do not even THINK about taking a screw=driver to the fixing screws until you have searched for all the pitfalls. Done correctly from the start they are easy to change, done incorrectly and you may be paying a body shop a lot of dosh to sort the mess out.
