Sidelights not working?

Recommended Posts

Hi all I recently installed some facelift indicators, and did a refurb on my pre facelift headlights. But now my front sidelights in the headlights aren't working. Every other light is working fine, the bulbs are fine as when the front fogs are on the sidelights are on. I have also checked fuses in engine and footwell, and all are fine. I also checked the ground wire and seems to be fine. Anyone got any idea what's going on? Also the indicators are wired in the way that the sidelight bit is also an indicator not sidelight

I have the same issue too and couldn't get to the bottom of it. I have asked Lee at SRD to look into this whilst the car is being serviced.

Yh it's weird because the bulbs are working when fogs on and if it were ground wire they wouldn't work when fogs on aha if you find out what it is let me know

If everything is dead after installing a new circuit, the first thing I would do is ensure it's not shorting out and remove the new circuit.

If you have installed any new wiring, make it open circuit and then check the earth is grounding out, and you have a 12v signal when the lights are turned on.

Go back to basics mate!
