ben_harmer32
Bought this for my Supra but won't work as mine is an auto, gutted! From what I've read this is a great ECU for BPU cars. Every review I've read says it makes the second turbo come on like nothing else! The car this came off had an FCD fitted (I didn't think you needed one with this ECU?), this has been removed but a few wires on the ECU were cut to fit it. These have been re-joined with bullet connectors. Also comes with a wiring harness so it's a straight take the old one out fit the new one job. These are getting harder to come by and are a great bit of kit. Price: £420 delivered
David P
Leave your stock auto ECU in situ to control the transmission and piggyback in the Blitz to control the engine.

David P
Connect the Blitz in parallel to control the engine functions instead of the stock ECU leaving transmission functions as stock. Take a look at an ECU pin out diagram and it should sink in. http://www.jegs.com/InstallationInstructions/0/017/017-30-1100.pdf Plugging in the Blitz and piggybacking the stock ECU for transmission control would make for less wiring than the other way around. David P
You inform us that you are "gutted" this thing won't work in your Supra and is why you must part with it. I enlighten you that with a bit of soldering it can be used in your Supra. You ignore the solution to your problem?

I looked at your suggestion, found the pin layout diagram and it was a foreign language to me. I wouldn't know where to start and I'm not prepared to pay someone else when I can wait and buy an auto version when one comes up for sale
David P
If waiting for the right rare item to come along is preferable to you or A.N. Other spending an hour soldering, be lucky. Not responding is ignoring in my book.

As stated I did look at the wiring diagram but I just do not have the wiring skills or even know where to start looking to do the work. I just popped online quickly this morning before taking my kids to school to bump the thread.
David P
With an ECU loom-socket & tails, discard all wires except lives, earths, CPS, TPS, transmission sensors & solenoids, which leaves around a dozen wires to match to the exact same coloured wires in the loom and much better than waiting for Christmas in my book. It's a pity that Pervs have put an end to Bob a Job, a Cub could have done it for you.
