Sheefa
Got an OS Gilken here and it's incredible. Such a difference in applying power out of the corners and on the straights! They're not cheap though. Diff, seals etc and fitting were best part of £2k all day long.

Jellybean
Dont get caught out by the SPEC X , some traders will lead you to believe you are getting a Spec X and charge you accordingly when its a Spec S http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?328829-OsGiken-Spec-x&highlight=OsGiken+Spec Super Lock LSD – Spec X For vehicles that are heavily modified or are participating in specific forms of motorsports, we offer the Spec-X LSD. The custom order Spec-X is available in 1-way, 1.5-way, and 2-way configurations and can be made with custom cam angles, lock timing, and initial torque settings. Typically on a SPEC-X differential there is dialog between myself(OsGiken) and the end user (you) prior to ship out. ALL of our differentials have SPEC-S or US-SPEC Laser etched on the case as standard. SPEC-X Refers a service in which I disassemble a unit and adjust the settings for the customer’s power level/grip. The Custom Tune (SPEC-X) service is at additional cost to your LSD. If you did pay for this service I would recommend reaching out to your dealer again as I do not have record of tuning a Supra diff in the past few months. Guest kitabel
There are only 2 ring gear sizes for a huge number of Toyota and Lexus RWD vehicles: small = 200mm OD = 7.87" with 30 spline axles, and large 220mm OD = 8.66" with 35 spline axles. The spline comparison is a useful (but general) comparator of mechanical strength of the axles, not that valid between cases; the 35 spline is about 59% stronger; read my article here: http://victorylibrary.com/mopar/axle-spline.htm The differential size shouldn't selected solely on the basis of power (let's assume that all Supras weigh pretty close as in within a few hundred weight). Traction and starting line torque are the other factors. A 325/60-15 slick tire with standard shift will break a 200mm diff, but it will give good service with an automatic transmission especially with a street tire and the stock 2,800 RPM converter. Very serious efforts (big turbo, 4L80E with transmission brake and 5,000 stall converter) will be using the 9" IRS Ford axle conversion, read about it here: http://tinyurl.com/gwskdgu
