Aaronmk4
Right I have a problem which is starting to bug me, every so often I'll be driving around come towards a junction/lights and put the clutch down to come to a stop and the engine will die after a slight hunt.. ( also holds back for a slept second on throttle sometimes) It's does not do it all the time only say 1/4 times but when you loose your steering ect it can get a little hairy! I had no issues at all then my fuel got down to the last bar so I filled up then this started happening : ( Any help with ideas?

jim
Have you checked the connections to the battery terminals, and that your battery clamp is tight? It's possible that they're loose causing the car to die if the battery shifts a little in its tray when you're braking.

I don't think it's anything to do with power matey as it always happens around the time point, hard acceleration could move the battery if it were loose - - - Updated - - - Idle Control Valve? I'm new to 2jz's buddy so I'm all ears
