Mike2JZ
Don't bother with the ebay ones, had a set snap on me a week after installing. Try: http://importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=12078&cat=89&sub=1354&sec=1562&var=38&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= or order straight from toyota

Chris Wilson
Okay thanks mate I put it on my watch list il debate on buying it Later just need couple axle stands now ! Any ideas where to get drop links oem or better ? /QUOTE] Genuine Toyota are fine and you can order them at your local Toyota main dealer. What dampers and springs are on the car? Do you know? Paul372
Blue print pattern parts are ok from your local motor factors
Alfie
It knocks with any bumps in the road , showed someone and he was able to move the drop link saying there's to much play need replacing . Will Toyota be more expensive than shopping online ? They have hks coilovers all round not sure what model
Chris Wilson
Hmm, there's every chance it's the HKS dampers or top mounts, if HKS spherical bearing ones, knocking, they are appallingly bad.
el_bandido
Whifbitz are currently cheaper by a considerable margin, got a quote for all 4 droplinks from Toyota and it came out at 360 something, whifbitz have all four for over 100 quid less. Alfie
I phoned Toyota just now for the rear it comes to £170, I did look on whifbitz they was £60 odd each
Alfie
Okay well local garage was able to move the links so just assuming it was them have been told suspension is rubbish and get some new ones but unfortunately I'm not rich haha
el_bandido
If you can't afford to get new drop links, you might want to reconsider Supra ownership; they come with a heavy tax and it will only get worse as they age. Cheap bits now usually means expensive headaches later.
Alfie
I am aware but not paying £170 of Toyota when there £60 online for same [emoji28]
el_bandido
Yeah I'll be getting mine from whifbitz for that reason.
Nic
Try http://www.tcbparts.co.uk/ their prices for genuine and pattern parts is usually very good.
Alfie
Well tcb came up ALOT cheaper, but could that mean the quality ain't as good as whifbitz or just paying for overpriced parts ?
Alfie
Hopefully use guys can help me with where to buy as I'd like to order today and try fit the weekend and see if the knocking noise goes away [emoji12] Edited October 18, 2016 by Alfie (see edit history)
Mike2JZ
Well tcb came up ALOT cheaper, but could that mean the quality ain't as good as whifbitz or just paying for overpriced parts ? /QUOTE] TCB use pattern parts for their drop links if I recall correctly. In theory pattern part should be of a similar quality to OEM. I haven't tried them personally so can't tell you, but I can tell you that the cheap £10-15 drop links on ebay are shit, snapped 2 recently. Mike2JZ
Another option could be to use whiteline "heavy duty" drop links. Which are decently priced, http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=KLC139&sq=29025
Frank Bullitt
Well tcb came up ALOT cheaper, but could that mean the quality ain't as good as whifbitz or just paying for overpriced parts ? OEM parts are expensive but are expensive for a reason. Fit the correct part the first time round and save yourself a lot of heart ache, wasted time & money. Just my opinion of course
