Blitz Access ECU (auto vs manual)

I see the mines ones specify on them A/T and M/T, however the blitz ones don't how can you tell the difference?

There's usually an additional label with a Blitz part number on it, they also sometimes have the original Toyota labels which state what engine/gearbox it is for.

Found this other one for sale?

It will 'fit' on a manual and auto, if it's a manual ECU though it will not work on an auto.

Tried that, got the following response:

Hi Ben, the entire Blitz Access ECU range was discontinued at the end of

2004.

As we did not take over the UK distributorship until late 2006 we have no

information on these units at all I'm afraid.

They were designed to plug into a standard car, the fuel and ignition being

altered to create more power and torque, but it would cope with altered

induction kits and exhausts without a problem.

They are not able to be remapped, and the Genuine Toyota part number should

still be visible on the Access ECU, matching up perfectly with the ECU it is

replacing.
