GSC +1mm exhaust valves

Real Street tend to use Ferrea valves, and from what I've seen so do most high-horsepower 2JZ builders. Why not just go for Ferrea? They are available in +1mm, also from Real Street

I'm being a cheapskate, the Ferrea valves are twice the price and maybe overkill for a 500 bhp build?

If they can't, or won't give material spec info and where they are made i wouldn't touch `em. This is the sort of info you need, from a good old UK company who make some of the finest engine valves in the world

I believe this is the steel. "Note: 23-8N material Chrome Polished." But that means nothing to me?

Thank you for the link, it would appear that they're made from one of the recommended brews.

"Exhaust valves are typically made of 21-4N, 23-8N for many performance applications. These materials are austenitic, nitrogen-bearing chrome-nickel alloys possessing excellent high temperature strength, hardness and corrosion resistance to combustion products."

I'll give them a go.
