Engine coffee table

I know some people on here have made coffee tables from old engines before, im going to do the same with my old RB26 i have sitting and was wanting some advice and input in what all i will need to do it and how much work it is. Will also need to find somewhere to source the glass from but thats not untill the end :D

I'm currently trying to make one from a crank plus bits. A kind of 'inverse' engine block coffee table. For glass I kept looking on local Gumtree for a coffee table with a glass top. Keep glass, junk the rest. I'd say mine is A2 sized and cost me a fiver. A single sheet of toughened glass was quite expensive.

I made one from a 1uz, sandblasted the block then clearcoated it to prevent corrosion, got glass from a local glass place, about €80 as far as i remember for the glass
