Can't really find a definite answer! I haven't done it on mine and wondering if I'll need to in the future. I'm running a 255 at the moment and all seems fine When I fit an ECU I swap the Pump ECU for a 40 amp relay and use either DI or FPR as the ground trigger from the stand alone.
