ellis
Would be very interested in recommendations based on experience or knowledge of 18" max lightweight alloys, preferably in black although that's not essential. If pics are available, great, if not then not an issue (that's what Google's for). Handling is an issue that needs addressing as an ongoing project. Wheels, bushes and suspension parts will be looked at together.
Swampy442
Look for forged, 1 piece rims by reputable brands mate, thats the only way to get the best quality and lightest weights. The 19" Works on the Aristo are very light for a 19 inch rim. Rays CA28s, RE30s etc are excellent but obviously will be expensive though
jim
I had ssr integrals for a while on the black supra and you could have lifted them with one finger, but a car like yours deserves nicer bud. Mine were 17" but they're available in 18 too. The professors are lighter than I thought they would be.
Nic
There's a nice set of ADVAN Racing RZII for sale in Japan at the moment, perfect size/offset for the Supra, top quality and they'll be about as light in weight as you can get. https://www.nengun.com/auction/item/v471946821
BOB B
Hi Ellis, have you looked at Ultralite Wheels, they are the lightest wheels I have come across, and my gold ones were Ultras which I had for 7 years and they were reasonably robust though because of the lighter alloy easy to damage them by curbing. pedrosixfour
I have a set of particularly clean WedsSport SA67-R for sale Ellis. The thing is, all four rims are 18" x 10" (ET+35). I was looking to reduce understeer to the absolute minimum on the track car, which is why I went for the uniform fitment. Here is a couple of snaps of the only rim with any sort of mark on it. The other three appear to be as new.

ianhid
Weds TC105N's are about 8KG a corner in 18x9.5J (they also do an 18x10.5J for about 0.35kg more), not sure if that's light enough for you. http://wedssport.jp/spectable/tc105n.pdf
KamaSupra
I've got 18" Volk TE37 Gramlights fitted, really amazing how light they are compared to the wheels my Supra was imported with.
Herb
18" WedsSport SA-15R on my Supra 8,9kg front and 9,2kg rear. I really love those rims. Weds are epic rims. Regards, Herb

ianhid
I'm running the SA-15R's as well I couldn't justify the TC105Ns in the end, about £900 more. They've handled quite a bit of UK road punishment, only damage was me kerbing one trying to avoid a white van. The Volk TE37s list up in about the same weight region as the TC105N depending on exactly which version you get.
Chris Bailey
We have the Work Meister SP1 3 piece rims, they are very lightweight. But also pricey....
ellis
Some good options so far, thank you. Keep them coming. Like the look of the Volks G25 and G27 (damn, G27 only in 19" and 20"). Good and light too. Somehow think the Supra needs a more solid looking spoke though.
fastcar
Volk CE28's in satin black are very good, very light, very strong and very well balanced. 1 piece forged wheels at there best
Westy
My BBS RGRs are the lightest wheels I have. Literally one finger stuff
Swampy442
Ultralite wheels are, ironically, not ultra light. 3 piece wheels by design will not be light.
jim
TE37s in black on your car would look stunning imo
