-K1
Enews Sema: This is the ’19 Toyota Supra, caught while testing in Germany. Toyota is reintroducing its Supra sports car through a collaboration with BMW and its Z4 roadster replacement, the Z5. While the two companies are expected to share the front-engine rear-drive underpinnings, Toyota is likely to use a hybrid-electric powertrain for its sports car. The Supra’s looks should be derived from the FT-1 concept shown in 2014. Expect it to be a coupe only, while BMW will most likely offer a roadster variant. Expected to be built in Austria by Magna Steyr, the Supra should appear sometime in 2018.

Style
yes SEMA eNews are serious enough but it's look more a bmw..hope the new supra won't be so ugly But there won't be a new Supra. Has there been one fabric of credible evidence to suggest Toyota are even doing one yet? The internet process seems to be along the lines of: Interviewer: "Will there ever be a new Toyota Supra?" Toyota: "Probably not" Interviewer: "Probably? So what's the FT-1?" Toyota: "Just some fun we had, companies do it all the time" Interviewer: "Is it a new Supra?" Toyota: "Meh, not really" Interviewer: "Not really? Good enough for me" Interviewer goes on to write an entire article with random, fan based 3D renders of what the new Supra may look like and state that Toyota said there "probably won't" be a new Supra which means it's not entirely ruled out and we can expect to see it on the road by 2018. It will also bear similarities with the FT-1 that Toyota made but was "not really" a full blown Supra concept car. This concludes that the new Supra will have the FT-1 styling, engine, running gear and interior. New article then arises when a BMW test mule hits the Nurburgring and everybody claims it's the new Supra set for a 2019 release. I love the internet

Action Jackson
There will be a new Supra. This just isn't it. I hope there will be a new Supra, I just hope they don't do what they did with the Celica and remove everything about it that made it great! zaheer0027
There will be a new supra. From a manufacturer stand point there is strong evidence. The toyota 86 was the first real sports car toyota has made in a long time to drive interest back into the toyota brand as a sporty brand. Then came the ft1 concept to keep the world interested and dialogue continuous. They have achieved this greatly. Then you look at the other manufacturers. The r35 has been around for a while now and reaped great benefits for nissan.the nsx has come out. Mazda are saying they are still invested in rotary technology to make it more reliable. Modern day rx7 anyone? And no the rx8 was never a direct replacement for the rx7 Imo.
