Tsia
Hi guys, Anybody got a rough idea on pricing for a new windscreen? Got to have mine taken out next year as rust has started to eat at the bodywork around the screen I assume Autoglass probably have stock? Cheers
evinX
Autoglass windscreen - 8284ABLGN - blue glass with green top tint Toyota - 56101-14010 - It crosses over to another part number as the systems updated but theyll do that for you around 300 from both places

Cam27
I just had mine replaced last month by Auto Windscreens through the insurance. I was quoted £450+VAT so just paid the £75 excess instead. I got the green glass I think that has a black tint at the top. 48 hour lead time on the glass. Trouble is I need to have mine removed for a repair rather than simply to replace the windscreen.

Dnk
My advice would be to google for a local company to get a better deal, Autoglass are expensive and as i found out recently can be a total nightmare to deal with.
evinX
I dont see why people are so scared to do this at home. I did my qtr glass. Id give the windscreen a go. Few tools to buy and materials...primer...adhesive...tape. itll be cheaper...way cheaper than paying for it to be done

Nodalmighty
Most wind screen people can remove the old one without breaking it. Mine is coming out to do the rollcage.
