BoGlE
Started the job of replacing the front lower arms(how I wish I hadn't). I've got all the bolts off apart from the 2 camber bolts, I've got the nuts off but no matter how much heat or hammering I do they're just not moving. My grinder isn't big enough to go through the shanks either. Does anyone know another way?
Big Mark
I did all my suspension arms last year. Front Lowers I had to heat up, a lot and then drive them out with a hammer. Rears wouldn't budge so cut them all out with a thin cutting disc in a grinder.
Dnk
I had to use a big disc grinder on one of my lower fronts as nothing would shift it
Rob W
As above. When I changed all the suspension arms on mine one of the lower fronts and a couple of the lower rear bolts were seized. I had to use a grinder to cut through the bolt, takes time and a lot easier on a ramp so you don't end up cutting the subframe to pieces. BoGlE
Appreciate the reply's. Think I'll go up machine mart and see about a bigger grinder tomorrow. Pita
