blythmrk
Air con rad must be very good/new condition. Possibly 2. Are they all the same on all mk4's N/A, TT, Auto/Manual?
Big Mark
Sorry for the Hijack, but don't suppose you know the part number for that air con rad?
mwilkinson
The air condensor has been discontinued. I tried ordering one the other week from Steve Manley. The generic Denso part, number 477-0589 is like hens teeth too. I've been trying to locate one in the UK with no luck so far.
Big Mark
Do you know the OEM part number rather than denso part number. I've got a mate at Hella so can see if he can source something.

mwilkinson
Amayama.com says they are available from Japan, but they want £341. Of course that's without postage, import taxes and VAT.
mwilkinson
I've managed to get a new denso unit for £175 + VAT from TCB Parts. They seem to be able to source these quite easily. For info if anyone is still looking.
Big Mark
They are just £100 on ebay in America. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381874090442?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I've got a mate working out there that comes home every 6 weeks so asked him to bring me one back. mwilkinson
Good info. I did see these. I was concerned about import duties etc and the chances of it getting to me damaged and any subsequent warranty issues. Seems you have an ideal way to mitigate against most of this. rider
I'm bringing over 5 service kits - condensers, receiver driers and top up oil for the Denso compressor from the USA. Wont be here till some time in March though as they are coming as part of a consolidated sea container shipment that isn't scheduled yet. I wont know what the final cost is till they have cleared customs and been forwarded to me but I'm going to guess the kit cost will be around £300 that if I was selling onto non members would be minimum £350. If anyone is interested in one of the kits PM me and I'll keep you posted on timings and costs as that information evolves.
