Uk alarm problem...

hi there guys,

 

time is coming close to getting my car on the road again! :)

 

but 1 of the many hurdles i need to cross is the dam uk alarm!! arghh...

 

after sitting in my drive for a few months i had tried to start my car but i cant turn the alarm off with the fob! i wanted to know how to bypass the alarm so i can start my car...?

 

any ideas?

 

ps i have tried a new battery :p

 

ohh and its a standard factory alarm nothing special.

Fair enough, I should have thought more before posting. I just remembered how frustrated I was when I couldn't get mine started and hit submit!

 

Never heard of that one before. Are you sure this is true?
The info came from the Engineer that repairs the alarms so I assume that it's correct.

I have this problem* with another of my cars but, would like to try the "supra fix" if possible ?

 

* = Took battery out to charge it overnight and now when re-connecting, the alarm goes off and I can't switch it off - My neighbours will be happy since I got up early to do this 06:10 today.

 

Note: I have a UK supra too so, might need this in the future.
