Tried it for this first time today, only watched the Allumette video to get used to it and was blown away. Couldn't stop smiling and kept having the urge to reach out to things lol

Played it for a fair few hours yesterday, the demos etc, but mostly Eve Valkyrie. Really, really fun.

However... I'm one of many people experiencing tracking 'drift'. Slowly but surely your 'centre view' moves to the left and you have to reset it. It's quite easy (you just hold Options for a few seconds) but it really pulls you out of immersion :( hoping for a fix from Sony ASAP - otherwise I won't be keeping it going forwards.

Been working on Battlezone VR and Sniper 4 for a couple of years now and yesterday saw the release of Battlezone, my first VR and PS4 game. :D Seems to have been received well so far which is always nice! My bit is animation of the transformable tank weapons and most of the pop up turrets. Hope you guys who have bought into PS VR will give it a try ;)

Going to be trying the demo of it later tonight. Valkyrie has me hooked for the time being, as long as Sony can sort out the few issues people are having.

I got my PS VR on Thursday. Have loved all the games I have played so far but the Batman VR blew me away!! I kept reaching out to touch stuff, forgetting I was in my living room! If you have just got one, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

What's the retail price on the VR headset?

How do the games work with it?

I'm thinking of getting one

The headset alone is £350, but you will need the PS4 camera (About £40) and 2 Move Controllers (for use with most games)! Not cheap!

DayZ Standalone - one of my favourite games at the moment. Open world zombie apocalypse, online lobbies of up to 50 people. Loot for food, clothes, supplies, weapons, etc. Exploring the northern-most part of the map is the most dangerous and most intensively exciting experience I've ever had playing an online game. Being shot at by real players, flanking them, murdering the bandit bastards and taking all their loot is extremely satisfying. The pure panic when you hear bullets whizzing over your head and cracking by your feet, having to work out where the shots are coming from using nothing but the headset, and then using tactics either by yourself or with your team to out-smart the enemy - it really is just an amazing game. Attention to detail is amazing. A must-play for anyone who likes survival/zombie games. Only negative side is it's been in Alpha for YEARS. Very buggy, very glitchy, often makes me rage. But an amazing game none-the-less.

Battlefield 1 - my favourite game at the moment. I won't even get started on how much I love Battlefield (Call of Duty can go fuck itself, bar the zombies) but Battlefield 1 totally blew my expectations. Campaign - mind blowing. Online gameplay - mind blowing. Graphics - MIND BLOWING. Gritty, realistic WW1 fighting, hands down the best FPS I have ever played. If you haven't played it yet, go grab EA Access and enjoy 10 hours free gameplay before it's official release.

Uncharted 4 & Last of Us Remastered - totally and utterly mind blowing. I'm not even going to start writing about these two games, all I'm gonna say is if you don't know, YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Forza Horizon 1/2/3 - my favourite game for quick entertaining. Great attention to detail when it comes to the looks of cars, how they sound, how they drive, available modifications and tuning. All the maps are awesome too. The wide body kits in Horizon 3 are mental, they just need to fix a few bugs regarding exhaust flames. Awesome all-round game for any car fanatic.

Fallout 4 - was the best campaign game I had ever played until I completed it. After completing campaign (minus the DLC content and mods) there really isn't much to do. However, every second I was playing it prior to completing it I absolutely loved. The way you can choose your character build is also quality. I went for a very charismatic character to charm my way through dialogue and it was very interesting seeing the results you could achieve when compared to a character with low charisma. My second character build was strictly strength/armour oriented, not as fun as the charisma build, but still good fun.

Fifa - shit.

Anyone with battlefield 1 tell me if its worth it for the campaign alone, i dont have any friends.....

The campaign is really good. It's composed of 6 shortish war stories that gives you a good variety and insight into the different things soldiers were doing in WW1. I've just finished the last one and it was epic; placed in a desert you gotta recon and search 3 individual villages filled with enemies to send fake messages to ambush a train... Really good stuff :)

Xbox One S here

I was tempted to upgrade to the S as it's terrific value for a 4K bluray player, but I'm patiently holding on for Scorpio.

Who's got Forza 3 Horizon? Any good?

Not sure if the demo is still available, but I was impressed with it. The graphics are pretty amazing. I'll probably get the full game before Xmas so I have a lot of time to get into it.

I love it mate. Got a bit bored as of recently because it's the kinda game where once you've done most of the campaign and got all the cars you want there isn't much left to do except online, but it's definitely my favourite racing game that's out at the moment :)
