Pudsey
Hey there ladies and gents, I have just been looking at some American car sales reviews, on youtube. I noticed that the engines out of the two videos I saw both had snorkels, attached to the lefthand side of the engines as per the uk cars. None of the cars had the uk bonnet scoop, but just wondered why they would have them fitted. Another thing I noticed was the passenger door 'right side' had an additional button next to the window switch. Just wondered if anyone else had ever noticed this Links to video added: - Edited September 16, 2016 by Pudsey Links added. Pudsey
The snorkel as in air intake?? /QUOTE] The metal diversion tube that is bolted to the left hand side of the engine to direct cold air to cylinder 6. We only ever saw it on uk cars, but the American ones have them fitted with a j spec bonnet in the two videos. I don't think the probability of someone aftermarket fitting them would happen, odds are it was put in from the factory I am guessing.
