bayside_supra
Hi everyone I have a set of 19" wheels I am thinking of selling. They have been refurbished so I cannot see the offsets. With 25mm spacers all round they lined up perfectly with the Supras arches. From that info can tell me what offset they must be front and rear? These are the wheels. pedrosixfour
What widths are the rims?
bayside_supra
The rears are definitely 9.5. I believe the fronts are 8.5 but would like to double check them. Is the rear width enough to know? I'm hoping because they needed 25mm spacers all round the offsets will be the same all round???
pedrosixfour
I'd say the rear rim offsets are probably in the region of +50mm so. I doubt that they're any less than that with the fact that the rims aren't protruding, despite a 25mm spacer. The fronts are probably around the same. You can check for certain with one of each width wheels removed from the car. Get a straight edge that just sits on the inside lip of the rim. Measure and note the distance between the straight edge and the mounting surface of the rim, the part of the rim that is in contact with the brake disc when the rim is mounted. Next convert the width of the rim from inches to millimetres and then halve it. A 9.5" rim will give you a result of about 120.6. Now, take that number away from the number you took note of earlier. The number you are left with is the offset value for that particular rim. I hope that is a clear explanation of the procedure!
squiffy
if you know the make and model of the wheels it might be worth a Google to see what specs they were sold in. there might only be 1 or 2 options to choose from
