twin turbo upgrades

is there anyone on here that can upgrade the Jspec twin turbos with the strong steel turbines?

 

and roughly how much is it ?

It might be worth speaking to turbo technics, they do a set of hybrid twins for around 800 on an exchange basis.

Still waiting for someone on the forum to report back on these. Looks like the best option to me. Though I guess I'd like to send away a spare set so turnaround time wasn't an issue.

 

If ever I need/want to rebuild mine, it's certainly a route I'd look into.

Whifbitz do hybrid turbos, probably worth checking with SRD too

It was around £1300 for the rebuild but fitting etc came to around £2k maybe a bit more.

 

Personally I'd go single if you can afford it. The twin turbo system how ever much I like it, is over complicated and makes for too much difficulty when something does go wrong. I'm saying this from experience. Had hoses split, VSVs go, hybrids and electrical faults. I've committed to the sequential system but a small single is better.

yeah I will go big single , but depending on price just want the internals changing.
