bayside_supra
Just picked it up today, hydrodipped in carbon effect. I added some stainless steel heater bits at the same time. I'm well happy with it! Dani at Alfa Hydrographics in Nazeing done it for me.

Hammer
That does look nice mate and I like the handbrake cover as well. What seats are they? It looks like a nice comfortable place to be in, mine is still a bit plastic fantastic for my liking.
bayside_supra
Thank you. The seats are Recaro SRs you can see them better in my interior thread. New interior is finally done! JackyBoi
Wow that looks really good! Any chance you could share roughy how much they charged for the dash?

bayside_supra
Thanks everyone. It seems really hard wearing aswell. She charged just under £300 but she did say that it took her much longer than expected to remove the rubber coating that's on them from factory so she should have charged more. I'm sure she would do the same again if a few people wanted it doing. I can always chat to her about a deal.
el_bandido
Would it not have been better to skin the panels on real carbon? At least that way the deception isn't obvious.
Wez
Very nice What other options are there, I am wondering if it would be suitable for a plain covering too, ie much better than painting.
bayside_supra
Would it not have been better to skin the panels on real carbon? At least that way the deception isn't obvious. I spent so long trying to find a place that would actually do anything with the dash that the first person to come back to me I went with. I contacted so many companies, some wrapping, some skinning, some dipping. All of which were either really unhelpful / shut down / refused to do the work without doing the whole car / refused to do the work at all. My dash was out of the car for nearly 2 months before someone would actually do the job! This company was the most helpful and all wanted was to give the car a new lease of life. I don't think the deception is obvious at all. You can only tell it's not real if you look at it in real detail. Regardless of that it looks lovely and new and modern which is what I wanted
brassbones
It looks great mate, and so much better than that stick on crap. Picoto (off here) had his dipped by someone in Manchester, so you are not alone! Its a great option. I ended up painting mine black. Its ok but clearly not a pro job, although if I can get myself over this annoyance it does have the advantage of being able to be touched up without pulling the dash off yet again.... MattP
I got a load done a few year ago they still look good although it was a pain pulling the dash out lol. Full set of facelift dash panels All vent surrounds including the long one beneath the windscreen Both electric window surrounds Both door handle cups Both inner door cups Ashtray Fuse box cover Brake res cover Oil cap Washed bottle cap Fan shroud Abs relay cover It came to £325 all in which I thought was good value.
