CD Player Jumping

Hi All

 

I have a tedious little problem with the S2000;

 

Since I have owned it, the oe CD player tends to jump, and fails to read discs, which are known to be good.

 

It does not display an error code.

 

Is there likely to be a simple generic problem here, dirt or dust on the reader?
