Parm_93
Hi guys, So having a few idle issues lately. Originally car was NA, recently have done a TT swap from a MK1 Aristo. The engine was running fine while in the Aristo with no idle problems. I'm getting a low idle (~400RPM) when it's warm, and when it's cold, it wants to stall straight away, so I have to keep my foot on the throttle a little bit until it warms up. Even then when it's warm and I blip the throttle, it will drop down to about 200RPM, close to stall, and come back up. Now I know it should sit at around 1500RPM when it's warming up, and then drop down gradually like my other Supra.. I'm not getting this. Originally I thought the problem was the IAVC being seized, so I brought a replacement from Paul and cleaned it up before installing. At first it seemed be fine after replacement, now a day later, it's doing the same thing. Could this be a TPS problem? Vacuum lines on the turbo side were all replaced when I did the swap too. Any help guys would be much appreciated. Parm
Sheefa
Have you checked the coil pack connecting clips mate? That was causing my odd lumpy idle which would often stall. It was only a single clip and a simple few quid fix. They get brittle over time and disintegrate.

Problem seems to be solved now anyway thank god. Turns out the ECU was faulty!
