Thanks for the "warm" welcome. Maybe the "etiquette" that a newbie is meant to adhere to should be pointed out on the registration form. This would be less of a shock to any other newbies who failed to "introduce" themselves. Thanks to suprarob and MONKEYmark for the welcome. My details are as follows:-

Toyota Supra 1995 TT 6 spd.

Apexi induction kit, aftermarket exhaust, full Veilside C1 bodykit, Toad alarm, 17" bbs alloys...front 9x17, rear 10x17. Colour Blood red.

I am 50 years of age, married with 2 children and have owned the Supra for about 1 week. This is something I have wanted for a long time having owned/restored various cars.

If anyone needs any more info please contact me.

Once again I apologise if I have offended anyone.

Hi Chris, welcome on board.

The first click on the switch is very small side lights and the second is the dip beam. Main beam is pulling/pushing the stalk. (hope I'm not teaching you to suck eggs here)

Sounds like you've got a nice car there, already got a few bits on. It is a UK car or import and do you have a boost gauge - if not I'd get one especially if you're cats have started falling off :innocent:

Chris no offence taken. Welcome to the BBS. I guess at the end of week one the grin is still pretty fixed.

Where did you get the car? If from a dealer I would get them to put it right. Did they fit the alarm? If so, your problem may be related to a poorly reconnected plug behind the dash. Alarm fitting often results in a number of minor eletrical problems if the fit was done in a hurry. Have you checked the fuses?

Thanks everyone for your replies. I have cured the problem....hopefully.....wiring gremlins strike again. Some info I forgot......the car is an import and has a Blitz dump valve.

I will continue to browse the boards and help where i feel I can.....as I said before the intricacies of the Supra are a learning curve for me...hopefully one thats not too steep.

Oh it's steep alright, but it's fun and you won't find a better bunch of people to help you with your supra. Welcome to the club!
