Big Mark
Going single and probably going down the Syvecs route with the Syvecs S6Plus Supra ECU Plug & Play Kit As it's plug and play does that mean I literally can plug it in and get a map on it (download a base map if possible or get the whole car mapped) and it's good to go? Or do I need to change/add the various sensors below first? np89
Is your car manual? If so why waste the money on syvecs? The link g4+ supralink plug in can do everything the syvecs can do and is half the price plus has a much larger support network.
Chris Wilson
No, its not exactly true plug and play. you need to ask Syvecs if you can run all the stock sensors bar perhaps the MAP sensor, which may need changing to a wider range one depending on your goals for boost level. I agree with np89 though, and most people don't use anything like the full capability of a Syvecs, so a cheaper ecu may be a lot more cost effective *IF* you can find a competent mapper that's available and not on a different continent. I have seen good results with Link ecus. But *NOTHING* betas MOTEC for levels of support and the number of competent mappers here in the UK. Big Mark
Car is an Auto, hence why looking at Syvecs because it's the only one I know of that controls the autobox too. Plus gives me the option of the Whifbitz DCT conversion down the line if I so choose.
Chris Wilson
Ask Syvecs whether the loom adaptor is truly plug and play for an auto TT..... And for what it's worth single turbos and the Supra auto box don't make reliable partners in my experience if you have a decent amount of torque.
