Swampy442
Good, because 1.3bar is crazy pressure, stock id only 0.9 I think. Also is it a fake HKS?

Chris Wilson
Your heater matrix may not like a high coolant pressure should the temperature make it rise higher than stock. You can't buy new genuine matrices any more either.
a98pmalcolm
Arn't all after market rad caps 1.3 bar? All after market rads use 1.3bar caps. Even a TRD one is 1.3bar Sounds like a crap Rad Cap mate. My Mishimoto one leaked so I bought a blitz one from Paul and its been perfect
Chris Wilson
Just check the HKS one hasn't got any debris under the little sping loaded one way valve if you want to continue using it. The valve allows vacuum in the rad to pull fluid from the "overflow" reservoir.
Jellybean
OEM standard opening pressure is 0.95 to 1.25, minimum opening pressure of 0.8 HKS do a 1.1 bar cap for the R33, thats what I use
