There's a thread on supraforums somewhere that tells you all the differences. Obviously the gear ratio change was the main one but from what I remember the synchros were also updated too (which seem to be a problem on some v160s) and also the case had extra visible strengthening on the outside (webbing pattern) Toyota must have decided the redesign was for a reason. It's worth noting some of the late model V160s also had the redesigned case with extra webbing pattern (just to make identifying between the two more difficult lol) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
