Fearless
That's a cool little car and I never thought I would say that about a Micra! That's the ultimate goal but I need to get some jobs done around the house first or the missus will kill me Edited August 29, 2016 by Fearless (see edit history)
David P
Twin Charging works with Roots or Whipple chargers which provide boost at low revs, a waste of time with a centrifugal charger that has boost characteristics more similar to turbo. Fearless
Yes but I was thinking smaller drive pulley on charger so it hits max revs/boost at 3500rpm instead of 7000rpm then it will work more like a roots type charger.

David P
Looking good. Finding your own mechanical solution and then making it yourself, is rewarding in ways that many will never know.
Fearless
Nice! Thank you Looking good. Finding your own mechanical solution and then making it yourself, is rewarding in ways that many will never know. Thank you Very true. I still don't know how well this is going to work but I have really enjoyed the challenge and if this first attempt doesn't work out I know I will make it work eventually. That's what I like about mechanical things so much easier to work out than women.

garethr
AFAIK all blown Mercs have a supercharger clutch. My old C230K certainly did. You could hear it engage at about 2000rpm. Nice job... very envious.
