Herb
I’ve been around on this forum for about six years... Now that I’ve finally finished the build I want to show you what I’ve created over the years... (SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN FOR PICTURES) Introducing the Supra JCR X aka Japanese Club Racer eXperimental! No expenses have been spared over almost 6 years of building this little track tool. It started its life in November 1993 as a JDM Toyota Supra hardtop NA 5-speed. The car was used in Japan for its entire life until I imported it to my home country Austria. After growing up in the 80ties in the backseat of a 911 Super Carrera and having raced the Tom's Castrol Supra in the early Gran Turismo games during the 90ties it was time for my take on my perfect car. Being a car guy since my birth, having enjoyed all my Dad's NA flat sixes out of Stuttgart during my early childhood, and fallen in love with the JZA80 Supra somewhere in the 90ties I wanted this Supra according to my own specs. To finish the introduction off and leave you with the pics I want to state that this car was never intended to be a concrete tearing, Ferrari humiliating horsepower monster in a straight line. This Supra is far more my take on: "What if Toyota made something like a 993 Carrera RS or in modern terms a Cayman GT4 out of the JZA80 chassis?" So enjoy the pictures of my build and spare those comments „just slap a turbo on it“ out of this thread please as this is never going to happen on this clubsport car! More info an the car can be found here on my facebook page JDM World Domination: https://www.facebook.com/Jdmworlddomination/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel# Here’s still a "little" spec list for more to go into further detail: ENGINE - TECHNICAL: Major headwork (Street port, valves, camshafts, etc. fully blown) Titan Motorsports V2 cam gears ARP cam gear bolts Gates Racing Kevlar timing belt Billet cambelt idler bracket Throttlebody streetported Intake manifold streetported Green Twister Intake Billion Carbon Intake air duct und cold air pipe (Ram Air System) Injen Intake pipe HPS intake couplers Magnecore ignition wires Denso IK16 Iridium spark plugs Fluidampr Crankshaft Pulley Powerhouse Racing Pulleys (black edition) Gates Racing V belt Suprastore uprated alternator Walbro 255 fuel pump HKS Circle Earth Kit TRD Sports oil filter Blitz Oil sensor attachment (Sandwichplate) Greddy magnetic drain plug ENGINE – DRESS UP: Valve Covers in red wrinkle finish Greddy Lexan timing belt covern (upper) Titan Motorsports Carbon timing belt cover (lower) Engine upper cover with custom airbrush ZSPEC engine dress up fastener kit (gloss red) TRD oil cap Carbon fuse box cover Carbon hood lifts with custom bracket Cusco battery tie down Takata tow strap Sickspeed spark wire seperators Titan and MVP Motorsports cap covers COOLING: Fluidyne rad Zirgo 14“ fans HPS cooling hoses Garage Whifbitz radiator brackets ARP Carbon cooling plate TRD Type S radiator cap SRD Aluminium coolant overflow with custom airbrush EXHAUST SYSTEM: MVP Motorsports header Garage Whifbitz 3“ Midpipe Vibrant Gesi HO 76mm cat Tanabe Medalion Touring 3" Catback DRIVETRAIN: TRD Limited Slip diff Exedy Sports Tuff clutch Powerhouse Racing complete clutch line TRD Quick Shift Kit Megan Racing gearbox bar TRD rear subframe bushings SuperPro diff ear mounts BRAKES: F: TRD 4 pot caliper, Stoptech discs and pads R: Supra big brake 2 pot, Stoptech discs and pads Goodridge brake lines Project Mu inner brake shoes SUSPENSION AND STUFF: Tein Street Flex coilovers Tein EDFC Active Pro GPS adaptive dampening system R2 Polyurethan Bushings all around Tanabe Sustec Sway Bars combined with Energy Suspension bushings ELECTRICAL STUFF AND ECU: MINE’S VX-Rom ECU (JDM Spec) APEXi Super AFC Neo HKS DLI HKS Fan Controller Sun Automobile Hot Inazma (Voltage Stabilizer) AEM Uego Wideband Bee-R shift lamp Greddy DA Gauge (Oil pressure face type) Autosport Patch Harness WHEELS (2 different sets): Show setup: Dotz Revvo 19“ rims and Toyo Proxes T1S tires F: 8,5J x 19 ET 32; 235/40/R19 R: 9,5J x 19 ET 35; 275/30/R19 Tred Wear Toyo Proxes tire letter kit 1” Track / spirited driving setup: WedsSport SA-15R 18” rims on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires F: 8,5 x 18 ET 35; 245/40/R18 R: 9,5 x 18 ET 38; 275/35/R18 Project Kics Racing lug nuts INTERIOR: Bride Euroster II seats (Gradation Design) Bride MO Rails Titan Motorsports rear seat delete TRD Gauge Cluster (yes, all three gauges ) Doocards, shifter boot, headlining, arm rests, etc. covered in leather with red stitching Bride floor mats Carbon door handles, steering cowling, door sills with custom airbrush Takata Harness Pads Retrofitted rare JDM knee rest pads and covered in leather with red stitching EXTERIOR AND AERODYNAMICS: TRD Type S Spoiler with Carbon blade und endcaps Phoenix Composite Carbon frontlip (OEM shape) Retrofitted JDM Active Spoiler (Front) with custom airbrush SRD alloy engine undertray with custom airbrush Sto’n’Sho front numberplate bracket CHASSIS: Carbing strut brace with custom airbrush (front) Cusco Carbon strut brace (rear) Ultra Racing Mid Brace Ultra Racing Rear Braces Do-Luck rear cross bar with custom airbrush Do- Luck floor support bars STEERING: Steering wheel OMP Corsica HKB Sports Boss Kit SuperPro steering rack bushings LIGHTING: USDM facelift headlights Facelift turn signals Clear side repeaters Facelift taillights PAINTJOB: Full glass out job in Midnight Club Pearl plus custom airbrush design “JCR X“ Everything you see on this car is painted / airbrushed (stripes, logos etc.)! This is absolutely one of the best supras ive seen in ages. I love every part of it. The details are amazing. I dread to think of how much £££ went into it. You must be very proud. Kendo11
Very cool - I usually hate stripes on anything other than a Viper but they are really well done. Love it.

Herb
@ Logie: Thanks a lot for the kind words and for the positive feedback! Yes you're right, it did cost a small fortune to build and some people will start to shake their head but still as stated in the text, this car is my take on the Supra and I have full respect for people with other builds like big power builds etc. As for the power number it produced 310hp on a good day, and it also produced 295hp on a bad day. It all comes down to temperature, dyno etc. But still I'm really very satisfied with the performance. It kinda reminds me of my Dad's old 911 performancewise, and that's not a bad thing I'd say. Concerning the rims you're absolutely right. I'm very pleased being supported by Dotz Tuning Wheels during my build: (Sorry not the best English I'd say ) http://www.dotzmag.com/en/magazine/blog/Dotz-Revvo-Toyota-Supra-Herb But still my personal wheel is and always was the SA-15R acquired from Garage Whifbitz. @ all: Thanks a lot for the kind words and for the positive feedback as well!!!!
