Dan H
I thought as its coming up to a year since I picked up my Supra, I should share an insight into the car. Purchased through Torque GT in September 2015, this May 2002 Supra is one of the very last built in Japan. Only 102 were built after this one. Everything is stock, with factory optional Toyota parts such as the door vinyls, rear windscreen vinyl, active front spoiler, front leather seats and vinyl rear seats as well as the OEM side skirts and rear spats. The only additions are the 18" Lenso D1-R staggered set alloy wheels, Pioneer DEH - X6600 DAB headunit and Infiniti 6 x 9 speakers in individual carpeted boxes in the boot. I also have a set of 17" stock wheels for the winter season as well. I replaced the smaller stock brakes for the larger 4 pot front / 2 pot rear brakes. The car has had a general clean/polish and tidy in and out. It's a regular at the friendly EPIC Basingstoke meets where its in company with some lovely examples of other Supra's (and owners !). Overall the first year of ownership has been a pleasure, a brilliant driving experience whether on the open road or in a queue of traffic. The stock power never fails to impress, the smoothness of the 2JZ with VVTi, the aesthetic and driver orientated cockpit all make the supra a privilege to drive. My only intention now is to keep enjoying the car as it is. As the mats say; 'Pure Sport'. j_jza80
Such a nice car Any future plans for modifications? Certainly going BPU and fitting an uprated SMIC will make the car quicker without making any permanent changes Edited August 14, 2016 by j_jza80 (see edit history)
Dan H
Such a nice car Any future plans for modifications? Certainly going BPU and fitting an uprated SMIC will make the car quicker without making any permanent changes Thanks ! No future plans for it at all in terms of modifying, I do appreciete though I can do reversible mods as well to keep it standard. I feel there is plenty of modified examples out there (and trust me if I was in a position to I would love to build a TT6 in an aerodeck shell to have as a loud, fast rocket aswell as this one ! ). I feel because this is one of the last, very rare and in stock form it should be kept that way, and will help in maintaining and increasing the value. It will be nice to have some completely stock supra's around still Edited August 14, 2016 by Dan H (see edit history)
Scooter
Good to hear, I've always thought they are swift as stock and agree few are or will be stock in years to come.

Dan H
Nice looking car, don't think I've ever seen that style of side decal before. Thanks ! The vinyl is a rare OEM option....I almost removed the Vinyls off when the car arrived before I realized it was a genuine Toyota part ! Here is the spec sheet another owner made me aware of with the options the supra had:
