RisingSunSupra
Was thinking of getting my supra fully re-sprayed in kawasaki green - what do you think - would it seriously effect the resale value?? This is it at the moment in silver.

supradibbs
dont mind the spoiler but everything else needs to be bigger with it i.e fatter wheels and yep that green would look how can i say "crap!!!!!!"
Elliot
Nothing wrong with the spoiler! I think it would affect the resale value of the car painting it green, as the target market would be considerably reduced. I can't imagine there would be a lot of people heading out to buy a modded green Supra. Could be totally wrong though, the colour could give it the competitive edge and be just what someone was looking for!
colsoop
I did a quick 5 minute paintshop for you to get an idea of what it might look like, not quite kawasaki green though but i think it would look cool, minus the rear wing though . Whitesupraboy2
is it wrong to like that but would definatly need clear indicators
Guest saahild
all it needs now is a few decals and it will look like that car from juiced. it looks way better then it sounds originaly. just get some bigger wheels in there and should be great. btw what bodykit is that
lockys96
why bother, someone bear me too it, i was bored anyway, how does this green compare to the one you chose, mine looks more pearl http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/7788/newlimesupra7qj.jpg Didnt go for 100% detail, anyone else want a colour change, i think u should stick kawasaki green, go for a more pearl green, more money but, hey if your going to do it, YOU MAY AS WELL DO IT RIGHT!! Elliot
I'd stick a CF bonnet on it too (naturally!)
Chiefgroover
I had considered a colour change, when I thought it through I ended up re painting the silver to tidy it up and get the plastic to match! many layers of primer and base coat seem to fix this issue. Azure blue was my colour of choice, so I am still stuck with Alpine Silver which has after nearly 3 years grown on me a little.
lockys96
pants attempt, no carbon weave, lol http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/3581/newlimesupra23lh.th.jpg

SupraStar 3000
I like it! Wing looks better on a special colour like green
terribleturner
If your going for a F&F machine than go for it and go with the Carbon bonnet. If not then don't do it. By modding your car you cut a chunk of people ou who will bw interested in buying it, by going extreme your then cut yet another chunk of people out of the last lot. Your potential market will be very small. At the end of the day it's your car. If you wanna do it and can take the good and bad remarks then do it and good luck. Pete
Nice choice for a show car, too much attention for a daily driver? Like the guys say - you're also limiting your future sales market.
scooby_doo_do
Slightly off topic.... but...Out of curiosity, how the heck do you do that with the car and paintshop ? I've got paintshop pro 9 - but not really used it that much.. Please tell me how to make car look nice :-)
Marco
Those photoshops look nice, but you'll never get a bright colour like that! Look at this one, who likes it? ->
