Big Supes
Cheers Shawn! I'm really enjoying it at the moment. I think it makes such a difference when there aren't any time constraints. With previous cars in the past its been stressful as they've been my only form of transport so each big job had been rushed over a weekend. Big Supes
Just waiting on the S13 LSD and poly bushes for the control arms and then I can paint the rest and get it fitted!
jim
Did you settle on wheels yet bud? If not, rota shakotan are
Big Supes
Haven't settled on wheels yet Jim, but those do look sexy, indeed! Once the S13 subframe is on, it will throw out the wheel fitment. I also have fender extensions to go on so, what that in mind, I've decided to work out the fitment first then choose a set based on what offsets are available. Big Supes
Good work buddy Thanks mate. I've just gone and ordered a new compressor, a mig welder, some extra tools and some fender extensions for the old girl. I'm off to put my bank card in a tub of water and into the freezer now... Big Supes
Love these , surprised they never took off like other 90's Jap models , they do look stunning I'm not sure on the numbers released in the UK, but I only ever knew of one when I was a kid. A mate's dad owned one around 1990 and I fell in love with it. It was simply nothing like any other car I had seen... plus, it had 180mph on the clock, which was a pretty big deal back then. Big Supes
Managed to source a full rear brake set up from a R33 Skyline. They will do the job nicely. I'll more than likely paint the calipes red. I will be keeping an eye out for the Z32 brakes for the fronts.
Jellybean
Sounds like we were both struck down by the Z when we were kids. Rumor was , a limo pulled up to his house , guy got out in a tux , allegedly took it at gun point LOL I remember the Limo , never saw the car after that But a seriously quick machine especially back in Ireland in the early 90's, it was a Black T top , just stunning Next time I saw the model was at a "precision driving" exhibition , midnight purple , two of them doing donuts wind to wing , sounded awesome as does anything with a dump valve when you are

I'm not sure if this is a movie reference or if you're being for real?!! 12 years old... where dreams are made! My mates dad's Z31 got paint stripper poured over it by a scorned ex girlfriend of his. I was devastated, but it came back from the paint shop looking as beautiful as ever.
Jellybean
Limo and Tux was used as a decoy , who will question a guy in a tux ; vaguely remember the police asking around Quiet neighbourhood , all very surreal Ah the wrath of an ex girlfriend, they'll get ya

foggy147
What's the hold up dude? Mainly just time getting everyone together to crack on. Think we will try and book a couple of free weekend in the summer to really crack on. Apart from.sorting out some adapters to mount the calipers the back end is nearly done. So can then concentrate on sorting out the front bits which should not take half as long anyway. Then onto making the interior somewhat decent, spraying and then some engine work. It needs to be finished though!!

If you need any engine parts give me a shout as I may be able to help you out.

Big Supes
Picked up the front brakes today. She'll be running 300mm 4 pot R34 Skyline brakes up the front. Thinking about respraying the calipers gloss red with the Nissan logo in white.
