Jellybean Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) 5 Hose Greddy Oil cooler and filter relocation TRD oil Filter BMRS Fittings and Lines I have installed new AN double swivel Dash 10 fittings , One of the fittings has a tiny weep (indicated by ARROW below) , a 1mm worth of oil after a run ( 50 KM) on the fitting, they are Brown and Miller Solutions (As used by Nascar and F1 teams) good quality ; I relocated the oil filter to the engine bay and have setup as per diagram below , the oil filter has a none return valve , if it was incorrectly connected the flow of oil would not enter the filter due to the valve, not too sure is this causing a back up of oil to seep out what is the best way to check as I hate replying on diagrams , anybody and experience with a weeping fitting to suggest what to check? How hot should the filter get after a run?
