Guest nosoupforyou
I've had my headlights, turn signals, brake and running lights, reverse lights, brights, marker lights, fog lights. ALL LEDs for about two weeks now. Zero problems besides the fast turn signal flash. Bought a new CF14 resistor relay for next to the kick panel. Well r&r'd the wrong relay and did the taillight relay instead and the relay went crazy, sounded mad, so I put the stock relay back in(verified it works with a fog light relay) and now I have no gauge lights, no running lights, no liscense plate light and all my side marker lights no longer turn on EXCEPT for the rears ONLY when the brake is pushed in.. Pulled apart the tail lamp failure sensor and the board is clean, no bad joints, no burn marks.. I was going to bypass it tonight and see what happens. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. j_jza80
A methodical check of all potentially affected relays and fuses would be a good start
scott.wild
Sounds like a blown fuse in the driver footwell

Guest nosoupforyou
all fuses are good in kick panel and under hood.
Guest nosoupforyou
13 and 6 look like good possibilites though .thanks for the attached file. unless there is bad contact they all tested good.
Noz
Tried fuses under the hood too?
Guest nosoupforyou
all fuses are good. Confirmed: Dash Lights, Running Lights, Marker Lights, Parking light within headlamp, do not work. Side Markers turn on BARELY turn on when brake pedal is engaged.. i'm lost.
Guest nosoupforyou
Any chances its the integration relay?
Guest nosoupforyou
took all relays out under dash and under hood, all tested good on resistance and continuity.
Guest nosoupforyou
Now headlights dont work. Could it be my headlamp switch? all the lights that arent working are turned on by the switch.. also checked the integration relay. it is good. board looks clean
Noz
There's a few relays in the footwell. You can switch your lights on and hear / feel them click. You can switch a couple as well to see if they aren't working. As they are the same part number.
Guest nosoupforyou
tested them all with resistance and continuity. they are all good. im lost.
Guest nosoupforyou
all relays are getting power. but when switch is turned for the bridge to connect for the relays from the headlight switch. its only getting 2volts then dropping to 0volts within seconds. bad switch or bad ground? Chris Wilson
all relays are getting power. but when switch is turned for the bridge to connect for the relays from the headlight switch. its only getting 2volts then dropping to 0volts within seconds. bad switch or bad ground? Sounds like it has to be one of the two. Create a temporary new ground and try it again. Then try bridging the switch contacts with a wire with a (say) 10 amp fuse in it. Guest nosoupforyou
Sounds like it has to be one of the two. Create a temporary new ground and try it again. Then try bridging the switch contacts with a wire with a (say) 10 amp fuse in it. this may sound noobish..can you walk me through that? Tried ordering a switch just incase. They are discontinued (p#84112-80152) Again, no running lights, dash lights, parking lights, side marker lights, headlights.. ALL relays are good (continuity and resistance)and all fuses are good. Taillight failure sensor is good. Integration relay is good. I am stumped. That's when I discovered that the relay (for my fog lights at least) is getting 2volts when switched on, but within seconds it drops to 0. I understand the process of adding a ground and bridging the switch contacts, just unsure how to do it given there is no easy or visible switch connector under the wheel or running to the kick panel. I need my lights back! lol :/
Chris Wilson
You will have to access the back of the switch or use a schematic to show wire colour codes and probe through the insulation.
Guest nosoupforyou
You will have to access the back of the switch or use a schematic to show wire colour codes and probe through the insulation. so funny story. I was trying to pull my taillight relay (above fuse box at kick panel) and it wasn't budging, so I used pliers. Pliers cracked the case and the pliers cracked the contact and bridged the connection and ALL MY LIGHTS WORKED!! but even with a brand new relay, it still doesn't work by my headlight switch. So would that be a short or power is not forcing it to the relay by the switch only by me bridging it manually? which would be?...
Guest nosoupforyou
So I hard wired the taillight and headlight relay with a jumper wire and all my lights work! So if I assume it's my headlight switch, is that correct? Or could it still be a ground?
Guest nosoupforyou
now my power windows do not work..and when i press 'lock' it locks then immediately unlocks.. my windows are down and its going to rain
Guest nosoupforyou
pretty positive it's my integration relay that I shorted out or fried. Anyone know where I can get one for a 95 N/A auto? (car is single turbo gte, r154 swap)
