evinX
Im going to paint my manifold shield, but not sure what steps/ type of paint to use. I think i this could work high build primer - base colour - 2k clear coat I did my plastic cam cover this way and it holds well. But not sure on the metal shield, anyone got any suggestions on how they did theirs? cheers, Kev
ripped_fear
Mine was done at a body shop and no special paint was used, just the normal. It took 4 years before it started to Discolour around the bolt points. On my tt I kept it simple and have used matt black so the clear doesn't degrade
Kendo11
Use something high heat, I used normal black spray can as you'd used elsewhere and it melted.
