Just curious before i go to sell the wheels. Are there any tyres that could stop the wheels poking out so much?

Got 255 currently on but its way too big, Would a 235/40/18 be a better fit on a 9.5J?

Trying to keep stretch as low as possible, planning on a set of BC racing coilovers.

Most of the Evo boys run 235/40's on 9.5J ok, 235's look stretched though but that's so they can get 9.5's under the arches with either ET30or20 under.

I'm running 255/35's on mine though and I wouldn't want run much narrower but then I want my car to handle and drive hard and stretched tyres would make me nervous haha

I'm gonna try my ET38 9.5 Rotas on with 255's just to see what they fit like.

Tbh can you not replace with some ET30's and stick with a 255?

End of the day stretching the tyres to get clearance is never the best idea as the rim itself will be the next thing to foul should it get chance?

The wheels are Japan Racing JR10 ET20 9.5J. I brought them from a facebook post but they all have 255/40/18 tyres on them. Put them on to find out my drivers rear shock is dead and has a different brand on the other side! Im picking up some BC Racing coilovers in aa few weeks and wanted to know the best tyres to get it to sit nice with the coils!

This is 18x9.5 ET21 with a Toyo R888 245/40/18 on BC BR coilovers set to 103mm between adjustment collars:

I'd get some ridox style front wings. The easiest oem style wing and should help cover that wheel overhang.

Expensive way to fit the wheels but anything else would ruin that oem look. Ridox front wings don't even look after market.
