Guest themdngtgarage
Hey guys, I just swapped my 2jz-ge in my 1994 toyota supra for another 2jz-ge from a lexus gs300 Now how i did it was take a bare lexus engine and swap the headers and alternator and wire loom etc over from the supra. Now when it was time to start the car the starter motor turned the car over but that was about it. no spark and no fuel by the looks of it. The fuel pump seems to work as i hear some sound behind me. Stuff you need to know: -I bought a running gs300 so I know the engine was good, engine was fine when i took it out -I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine -I used the old supra ecu with the old supra wire loom

Style
I'm assuming the GS300 engine is a non-vvti version? I don't know the GS300 too well but I think they did both VVti and Non-VVti GE engines
Shane
Check earths, ECU connections and the ECU is bolted down correctly /QUOTE] Good advice, there is a double tagged earth wire that often gets left off under the inlet side on the NA, this is one of the main grounds to the ECU. A quick test for this is to put a volt meter between the ground side of the MAP sensor and the -ve side of the battery, you should see ZERO volts, anything over zero and you have an earth problem.
