stevie_b
Probably code 42, the symptoms match. But I'm speculating, so as Raven said, please check the error codes.
Guest Simon_s13
thanks guys i will check it tomorrow, can be the problem caused by the speed conversor?
stevie_b
If it's code 42, it's likely to be caused by an aftermarket speed converter that's broken, or by a problem on the odometer circuit board. If your speedo is still working, it's unlikely (but not impossible) to be caused by the speed converter.
Guest Simon_s13
I´ve check the codes on my car but it doesn´t recognize any fault because the light is flashing all the time, any idea about thi problem? thanks
stevie_b
Check your brake fluid level. If this is low, it can trigger a warning light.
Guest Simon_s13
Check your brake fluid level. If this is low, it can trigger a warning light. the leves is fine, I was looking for the speed converter but I can´t find it, it normally is fitted in the dash cluster but it isn´t there, anyone knows where can be? stevie_b
Might be near the odometer, or occasionally on top of the gearbox.
The Raven
This does it make sence the ecu should have stored a fault.
