girth45
Hi flushed my auto box and refilled with fuchs 4400 , since foing this auto box works but tiptronic doesn't! "M" on the dash just flashes, checked for fault codes non present, oil level is correct. Any ideas?
j_jza80
I'd probably start by resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. You haven't disconnected any plugs at all have you?
girth45
Hi reset the ecu , i have fitted g/box temp sensor in oil pan , before that i tapped into ecu g/box temp wire and connected it to guage that didnt work so fitted separate sender. Have carried out some work down by ecu , so maybe issue is there, have checked for fault codes, none in memory.
j_jza80
I had similar symptoms when i fitted my HKS speed delimiter. It is likely either something is unplugged or a wire needs rejoining.
girth45
Checked connectors by ecu all look ok , still no joy , cae drives fine in auto just manual tiptronic not working, must be electrical , cant find any wireing diagrams for the tiptronic. wile e coyote
I would undo what you have done and see if ok def sounds like an electrical issue I removed my delimiter/converter and the car drives so much better
TuneR
Id say electrical too given it only happened after work done, reverse everything as said above. Also wondering why you tapped a sensor port in as the ECU gets a reading from an OEM temperature sensor? Can be read with an OBD reader like the Blitz iVit.... Fitted seperate guage for gearbox temp, thought i could use signal from gearbox temp sender.

girth45
How & what was wrong? I fitted a push button start switch , wired into the starter trigger wire off the ignition , for some reason this wire has a connection to the tiptronic ! Without a wireing diagram, cant explain this , and will now have a think about how to wire the start button.
