Power Steering Fluid Overflowing

Gents,

Currently out at the Nurburgring with the Supra, struggling with the power steering fluid resevoir overflowing during track use? In the mean time I will put a sock over the resevoir to stop the fluid going over the engine bay.

Any ideas why this could be? Boiling the fluid? I can spot no leaks in the system, a new power steering pump was fitted around a month ago with brand new fluid so I can't see the pump being the issue.

Regards,

Harry

Cheers for the quick responses chaps,

I believe it's more than likely the combination of wide semi-slicks and the constant abuse.

I did top up the reservoir before I left the UK so that could've been a compounding issue, but no foaming or bubbling, just overflow.

Stock cooler is in position still, potentially needs better flow to it or make a custom 4 row cooler for the PS fluid.

I`d put money on you overfilled it, ive had this, also make sure its not dripping onto the ground anywhere especially in the carpark, the marshals will be onto you, park on the grass overflow carpark untill you get the issue sorted.
