Pete
Wow - what a lot of TV producers, directors, critics and personality coaches we have in this thread. I feel for Chris and think his comments are spot on. He was a square peg trying to fit a round hole and no matter what he did people were going to hate him. IMHO it was just starting to take shape and settle down, I enjoyed the episodes nether-less.
imi
Bring in Tanner Foust Hope not. Thank goodness for that. Now need to get rid of Jordan, Sabine and Dory.. I mean Rory From the current team would be good if they kept, Rory, Chris H & Matt - The lead role should be a brit, maybe get Stephen Fry to be the anchor Perhaps a certain Mr Button will be joining the show, or even DC - neither of the two have the right personality to carry the lead role. pedrosixfour
I stopped watching after the first episode. I would happily beat Chris Evans to a pulp using Eddie Jordan. I don't even think Dave would be low enough to air this series!
wile e coyote
If they hadn't just copied the top gear formula and did it there own way I think it would have worked
Mike2JZ
Boris Johnson for new top gear presenter
Digsy
By the end of the series I had actually got into it and warmed to all the presenters, with the possible exception of Eddie (who only seemed to be there for occaisional comic relief) and Sabine, who IMHO wasn't being "used" correctly, for want of a better term. I think she would have been better as a co-reviewer / presenter rather than occaisional sidekick working to a script. The "star in a rally cross car" segment really drags, though. ManwithSupra
The "star in a rally cross car" segment really drags, though. Yes, I totally agree. Mind you I was never a fan of the original segment - I felt it was too long and well IMO didnt really do anything for the show. I didnt mind the F1 board though..
