Even if they did identify themselves as police, if two blokes in a car pulled up to you and said, 'come here I'm a copper' would you? Anyone can say that cant they? I know there is usually no smoke without fire, so they may have had a genuine reason to stop the kid, but I dont think I would have stopped!
