imi
Hi people. Had a good search around the forum but cant quite find the answer to my problem. - Cars got a FCD, Full-Decat and a Restrictor Ring fitted and a Blitz boost controller + Blitz boost gauge. - Now with the boost controller switched OFF, the boost can read upto 1.7-1.8 bar which is simply crazy..... - Boost controller switched on settings 1 or 2 and its pretty much the same.... Car seems to be pulling strong, however a slight hesitation when the 2nd turbo comes on. Dont like to rag it as really dont want to blow the turbos or the engine... Help appreciated.... Nic
So it was running normal boost before? If so it sounds like one of the small hoses has come off or split somewhere.
imi
Yeah, used to run 1.2 bar before....I agree, sounds like somethings split somewhere (too whistly the sound from the turbos spooling).....any pictures of what hoses I am supposed to be checking. Nic
No idea which it may be, it'd be my guess that a hose has blown off rather than split though. Have a good look around and see if you can see a hose disconnected.

Ian C
I'd concentrate around the wastegate area, sounds like you have runaway boost. -Ian
