Alex_GT
Since I've had my car, when putting the car into manual mode at a stand still, the LCD display shows "D", implying the car is in overdrive, to pull away I have to press down in the wheel to get to 1st every time. I've also noticed that if the box changes down on its own whilst in manual mode the LCD display does not update to show the correct gear. I have been thinking about this and it doesn't really make sense, the display must know what gear is currently selected at all times as it always reads up/downshifts from the buttons correctly, but if the box changes down itself it does not change on the display, and the only way to be sure what gear you are in is to come to a complete stop, select L (1st) manually and pull away again. This is incredibly annoying, is it a design flaw in the manual operation or is there something wrong with my gearbox?
