WayneW
Hi everybody, I have a friend's TT6 Supra at home for some work, he bought it in France a few months ago now... Unfortunately he now has some clutch issues, sometimes impossible to put the 1st or rear gear and the release bearing is quite a lot noisy lol. That's why I'm putting the gearbox off the car, but I have already seen something not really nice... After some research on internet, I've seen some HKS rod rebuilt kit (but no rod there...) isn't a new oem slave cylinder my last solution ? Or do I need a special one because of the triple plate taking more place ? Being harder to push ? Thanks
np89
Forgive me if im stating the obvious, usually the slave cylinder is bolted to the gearbox. Was it like that when you found it?
np89
Thats just a piece of threaded bar btw not the actual toyota push rod. Buy a brand new toyota slave cylinder and bolt it to the gearbox and it will work fine
