mattdavies
I am having problems with the car not staying / changing down to first gear on the autobox. When normal driving in 'D' it is fine and if i hit kick down it will stay in gear. but if i try it in manual mode with 95% throttle it changes up at 3500rpm roughly. Any ideas what this may be ? mellonman
Problems like that are often oil related level / condition

mattdavies
Checked the codes today and Got a 14 & 25, think these may be from the coilpack clips, have resolved this issue now. Will double check the auto fluid
mattdavies
Still having issues with this. Fluid is good, is a good colour. I am now thinking it might be throttle related. Any one know how to reset the throttle position sensor ?
Chris Wilson
Does it change up to 2nd at about 3500 RPM in Manual Mode if the traction control is turned off?
mattdavies
It changes up quite quickly couldn't tell you with out driving it again exactly when it changes and i can sometimes get it to stay in first gear when kicked down. mattdavies
are you still running the Auto ecu to control auto gearbox functions? The Mines replaces the whole ECU and is made for an Auto
