gordy.r
Ok so I searched, found, commented and got no joy I'm looking for an HID kit for my dipped beam/headlights and I am mega confused. I've asked a few peoples advice and I seem to be getting different answers everywhere I turn. I am referencing this thread here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?215323-What-Bulb-Guide-Pre-Facelift-and-Facelift&p=4153725#post4153725 Because it seems to have some really good info, but when I search online for kits it is pointing me in a different direction? http://www.hids4u.co.uk/HB3-9005-HIDS4U-Stealth-35W-Xenon-HID-Conversion-Kit.html Anyone who has installed some HID's could put this to bed for me and tell me exactly which kit it is I need for my headlights that would be great. (H3 / H4 etc).
berg
You need 9005 kit, thats what ive used on both my supras, i use 9005 for both dipped and main beam Also id recommend the 55w kits instead of 35w

berg
Also id advise buying a pair of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Auto-Xenon-HID-Conversion-Kit-Relay-Wirings-Harness-9005-9006-H1-H3-H7-H8-H9-H11-/281938950917?hash=item41a4defb05:g:PVgAAOSwv-NWYCT- They allow them to be wired using direct battery power instead of connecting to the oem bulb plug, a few members on here have had issues with them flickering/not coming on due to power voltage drops, this cures that issue
