As per my subject line. I'm convinced the fashion will pass.

So here s my q. Does anyone know the biggest tattoo removal firms who are on a stock market to invest in?

I'm not debating whether tattoo s are cool or not.

Just want to know the biggest companies in the industry who are investing in new tattoo removal technologies. If someone knows please post.

That's the thing. I wonder if the best most successful removal firms are currently too expensive bit like laser eye surgery. As technology prices come down and demand rises massively the market will improve for those firms.

I might ask on a tattoo forum actually what's the best companies / way to get a tattoo professionally 100% removed regardless of cost. I guess they d know?

I agree, I have large tattoos before the fad of, I guess, footballers style tattoos? I have my tattoos on going from 15 years ago (as I'm sure a lot of you have) the fashion sheep can't just slip off a tattoo like they can on that gay ass top knot crap if which is already phasing out..

Tattoos aren't my thing but people have been having them for literally hundreds of years. If anything, they have gained popularity, not lost it.

If this trend changes, I don't think the removal business will suddenly boom as less people will be getting them and therefore less people will need them removed.

The process and end result of removal needs to improve a whole lot too as it is presently painful, requires many sessions and the results, particularly on colored tattoos is poor.

I thought a few years ago that a business doing tattoo removal would be a good earner, fads and fashions change so I just don't see how a tattoo you have in your 20's you'll still want and appreciate when older in life.

Plus.....

A) I don't really like most tattoos &

B) Some people are clearly idiots with totally stupid tattoos (one's done by their mates when drunk or on holiday when drunk) so I'd be more than happy to inflict pain on then and charge them lots for the privilege.

At the moment doesn't removal still leave scars and there never 100%?

I'm sure as tech improves there be less scaring and more 100% so possible a good investment but I'd say there like eye surgery at the moment

I've had mine happy with it. Will have my sleeve finished and leave it at that.

Don't think mine will ware off but I haven't just gone for random it's more things of meaning

Can't see it myself, I have tattoos, still love them but unless they were offensive I wouldn't get rid of them even if I didn't like them. As you get older you just don't care (IMO).

I invest in banks for long term, both into SIPP and ISA, also doing well on 3D printing (3D systems). I spread my portfolio as much as possible (oil related ones are killing me atm). A lot of the really interesting 3D companies are private though for now :(

Desalination and food are areas I might look into for future investment as people will always need food and water. I have a friend who works in a graphene related industry which sounds very interesting so may chuck some money their way.
