John S2
When we got the car we found these stashed in the boot http://jannas1232.homestead.com/files/boost_guage.jpg http://jannas1232.homestead.com/files/Turbo_Timer_etc.jpg Thats how it all came just bundled together. we have no idea how to connect the turbo timer up so does any here have any ideas? It looks like they have already been on the car before we bought it, the underside of most things has sticky pads on them what have been peeled off. We tried to connect the boost gauge as under the bonnet there is this.. http://jannas1232.homestead.com/files/apexi_connector.jpg http://jannas1232.homestead.com/files/bopost_connector.jpg it all fits well but nothing happened:moo: so now we are stumped. Any ideas?? cheers:D

Andrew
I used the instructions for the HKS Timer when fitting the Blitz, practically the same. This link from MKIV.COM has the pictures too. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/hks_turbo_timer/turbo_timer.htm

SimonB
Looks like the control unit for the boost gauge, to let you set the warning level, display the peak value etc. In fact it looks like one of the "system" ones that can control a whole series of gauges. Dunno much about Apexi gauges though, so I could be wrong. Looking at the first pic it looks like you plugged the gauge straight into the sensor. You probably have to plug the control unit into the sensor (and a power source) and then the gauge into the control unit.
