Fuel pumps

Hi, almost finishing my single from twin build.

I have a 340ph pump sat waiting to go in...

The question is, is it big enough lph for around 550bhp?

Or do I need to go for 400lph or 450lph?

Also is Kemso a good brand, or is it just worth only going for walbro?

Cheers,

Tom

With fuel pumps I would stick to known brands.

As for flowrate, I ran as did many others a single Walbro 255 to around the 550-600hp mark.

If I was in the market for a pump now I would be looking at the Walbro 485 from SRD

What that man said. The new 485 pump is good for near enough 700fwhp I believe before pressure tails off.

You can't have a pump that's too big dude, as the fpr will only allow the rail pressure to reach whatever the regulator is set to.

The 340 will be fine

Is what I was thinking hahaha duhh, was just checking, cheers :)

No one has said if kemso is good or not, meaning there probs isn't many that use it...meaning I wilL probs get a walbro ... however I can only seem to find 255lph or 400+lph (which states used for vehicles with 700hp+ )
